Hitech arm

The washing nozzles on the Hitech arm are at the same level as the rinse nozzles; this means that the spray is not obstructed, as in the normal arrangement of separate wash and rinse arms. It features an Easyhandling snap-fit attachment system, which makes it easy to install and remove for cleaning, even with just one hand.

Ultrarinse

Rinsing system covered by a series of international patents that ensures extraordinary results in any installation conditions and savings in water consumption of up to 60% per cycle. To achieve this, the circuit has been designed to generate not the usual cone, but a blade of water, so the rinse water is concentrated on the rack rather than the bottom of the appliance.

A dishwasher with Ultrarinse3 that consumes 2 l per cycle directs the same amount of water onto the rack as a conventional appliance using 3 l.

Evolution3

Evolution3 drains the water and solid particles of dirt from the bottom of the tank before rinsing: wastage is reduced to zero for 100% efficiency.

The lye becomes soiled more slowly, so changes are less frequent and detergent concentration can be reduced by about 20%. The drain pump and self-clean cycle are standard equipment on the dishwasher.

Archimedes

Rinsing introduces clean water into the tank to replace the soiled water. With a conventional overflow, the clean water floats on top of the soiled water, which is heavier; for every three litres taken in, one goes straight to the drain. Archimedes, patented by Colged, uses the communicating vessel principle to reduce wastage from 38% to 17%.

Water is forced against the bottom of the tank to shift and drain off some of the accumulated dirt particles. The lye becomes soiled more slowly, so changes are less frequent and detergent concentration can be reduced by about 10%. The drain pump is optional.

Duoflow

Conventional pumps have one inlet (from the tank) and one outlet to the two washing arms: the flow is divided by means of a Tee- or Y-joint According to our research, 25-30% of power is lost at this point. The Colged solution is simple: the pump has one inlet but two outlets, with no Tee- joint. Power loss is not reduced but actually eliminated, and noise levels are also halved. For example, the results provided by a conventional pump of 650 W are delivered by a Duoflow of just 480 W: top performance with minimal energy use.

Hotwash

Constant tank heating even with large number of cycles in quick succession

Hotwash

The Hotwash system distributes electricity to ensure the tank is constantly heated, even with a large number of cycles in quick succession.

This allows shorter wash times, shorter drying times because outgoing tableware is hotter, and lower detergent concentration, generating major savings.

Precise detergent and rinse aid distribution with no wastage.

Prodose

The rinse aid and detergent dispenser pumps are peristaltic with electronic adjustment: the sensors which monitor chemical levels and alerts on the electronic display are optional. Thanks to the control system, doses can be set on the display. Low chemical level monitor sensors with control panel alert (level switches) can be included.

Effective, energy-saving rinsing system

Thermostop is a function which monitors the boiler rinsing temperature. If the boiler temperature is below a certain limit, the dishwasher extends the wash time until the set temperature is reached, at which point (and not before) rinsing will start.

Prorinse

Amazing results in all conditions

It features an open boiler with a rinse pump supplied via an anti-flowback Break Tank with constant pressure and flow rate. With a conventional rinsing system at 80 – 85°C, the temperature falls by more than 25°C during the rinse cycle (supply temperature 10°C), but with prorinse the temperature remains constant; by using less water at a lower temperature, the system obtains the same results with less energy use.

Unlike with other dishwashers on the market, it is not just a button; the entire screen changes colour depending on the appliance’s operating status and wash cycle progress, making it easy to read and interpret even from a distance.

As well as operating parameters such as tank and boiler temperature or the number of cycles completed, information provided by the self-diagnostic system is also displayed. Information is provided in the form of clear text and icons. Users can adjust the tank and boiler temperature and detergent and rinse aid doses, while our specialised technicians can modify all the appliance’s operating parameters.

With the NRG system steam is not emitted into the environment, so there is no need for a dedicated extractor hood. There are also clear economic benefits, with major savings on electricity.

WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

Carefree

With hard water, softener regeneration may eat into valuable working time. Carefree performs regeneration during every single wash cycle, in a fully automatic, absolutely imperceptible way. Water quality is always constant and the user simply tops up with salt when prompted by the appliance’s electronic control device, a process that takes only a few seconds.

What’s more, wash results will always be guaranteed even with milder, less expensive detergents than required for hard water.

CONSTRUCTION PHILOSOPHY

SmartClean

The design of Colged dishwashers aims to prevent the buildup of dirt inside the wash chamber. Tanks, door liners and rack rails are all press-moulded with large-radius rounded corners for easier dirt discharge; even vertical edges are rounded.

Pipes are incorporated within the double skin and coarser particles are trapped by the integral tank strainers.
